Connect to Raspberry Pi via SSH WiFi through Router


Enable the SSH server from the config menu:

sudo raspi-config

Setting up WiFi for the Pi:

In order to connect to the Pi via SSH through router, we have to fix the IP address of the Pi.

In order to allow the Pi sending requests to the server (localhost in my laptop), we have to fix the IP address of my laptop. These can be done inside the router setting:


SSH connection:

Download Putty
Enter the fixed IP address of the Pi and select SSH with port 22

By clicking Open, the Pi terminal will show up, and we can control the Pi.


Sending HTTP Request :


curl [of the computer hosting the server: port/ path]


, the Pi now are connected to the server!
